It even has Sir David Attenborough’s stamp of approval as he declared it as his favourite place in the UK to see nature at its best along the stunning coast. The Farne Islands are known for its birds with 23 different breeds spotted here, including colourful puffins and razorbills. If you’re lucky enough, you may even see a seal bobbing in the sea whilst you’re on the boat.
The nearest train station to Seahouses Village is at Chathill which is 5 miles away. The closest East Coast Main Line train stations are located in Alnmouth or Berwick-upon-Tweed which are roughly 30 minutes away from Seahouses by car.
There are great bus services from Seahouses, Northumberland. Hop on the X18 which takes you through to Newcastle with stops in beautiful areas like Amble and Alnwick.

Join a guided walk with Villages in Time who specialise in tours of the North Northumberland Coastal villages of Seahouses, Beadnell and Bamburgh. Walks are pet friendly and dogs can join providing they are on a lead throughout.
The Northumberland Coastal Path stretches for an impressive 62 miles. Starting in the pretty village of Cresswell at the southern end of Druridge Bay it then hugs the Northumberland Coast and links the fishing towns of of Amble and the villages of Warkworth, Alnmouth, Craster, Seahouses before reaching Bamburgh.
Offering a delicious range of homemade cakes, scones & traybakes which are all made on site. They also offer an afternoon tea, savoury menu, selection of coffee and tea along with some alchol options.

25% deposit upon booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
If you make your booking within 60 days of arrival, full payment will be take upon booking.
If you cancel more than 60 days prior to arrival, any funds taken will be refunded in full.
Should you cancel between 60 days and 30 days of your arrival date, you will be liable for 50% of the full booking value.
Cancellations inside 30 days are non-refundable.
No security deposit taken however when your booking is confirmed, you will be asked to verify using the accommodation providers verification partner called ‘Superhog’. This is a free service and covers owners for any accidental damage. You will receive a link to Superhog within your booking confirmation email and the lead guest simply verifies using ID.
A £25 management fee and a cleaning fee is in addition to the accommodation rate. This will be sent to you with your holiday quote.
