Owl is an attractively furnished and readily accessible ground floor apartment. The apartment forms part of a fabulous self-catering accommodation site at the heart of an attractive village in the North York Moors National Park with an on-site leisure suite housing an indoor heated pool, as well as a spa & sauna all exclusive to guests!
As you enter the apartment, you’ll find a welcoming open-plan living room with comfy sofas and a flat screen TV. Ideal for relaxing, you can snuggle up with your loved ones and keep up with your favourite shows. Also sharing this space is the dining room which includes a wooden dining table and matching chairs, as well as a kitchen. Traditional in style, wooden cupboards dominate the space and the space also features all of the appliances you could need so you can prepare meals easily during your stay.
There are two bedrooms as well as a family bathroom in Owl. The first bedroom boasts a double bed and the second is a twin.
With vintage style tiles, a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and basin, the family bathroom is clean and sophisticated.

Owl is at the heart of the attractive North York Moors National Park village or Newton-on-Rawcliffe, roughly 30 miles north-east of the city of York.
Less than 5 miles north of the busy market town of Pickering, you’ll have plenty to do and explore right on your doorstep.
Just 3 miles north of the village and you can be walking in Cropton Forest. Go a further 2 miles and you’ll have reached the vast heather expanses of the North York Moors National Park. Travel another 14 miles and you’ll reach the fishing town of Whitby being a scenic 30 minute drive further north.
The two beaches at Scarborough and the 4-mile beach at Filey are all about 40 minutes away by car.
The closest train station can be found in Malton which is 14 miles from the cottage and there are regular routes to Scarborough, York, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.
Leeds Bradford Airport is 90 minutes (65 miles) away. To get to the cottage from Leeds Bradford Airport you would best make your way to Leeds Railway Station and get a train to Malton or else pick up a hire car at the Airport.
Guests have full access to the property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
On site parking is available for two vehicles.
1 well behaved dog is welcome to stay in the apartment.
Please note that two automatic shared washing machines and a tumble dryer are sited in a separate laundry room. Charges may apply.
The property is not suitable for stag or hen parties.
Note the property has shared gardens and grounds with neighbouring cottages. There are various sitting areas a pond and picnic benches plus a neighbouring pub.
25% deposit upon booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
If you make your booking within 60 days of arrival, full payment will be take upon booking.
If you cancel more than 60 days prior to arrival, any funds taken will be refunded in full.
Should you cancel between 60 days and 30 days of your arrival date, you will be liable for 50% of the full booking value.
Cancellations inside 30 days are non-refundable.
No security deposit taken however when your booking is confirmed, you will be asked to verify using the accommodation providers verification partner called ‘Superhog’. This is a free service and covers owners for any accidental damage. You will receive a link to Superhog within your booking confirmation email and the lead guest simply verifies using ID.
A £25 management fee and a cleaning fee is in addition to the accommodation rate. This will be sent to you with your holiday quote.
