This dog friendly accommodation comprises of two Lodges, one is twin bedded and the other has a king sized double bed. The Lodges benefit from underfloor heating, generous bathrooms with double width showers and plentiful hot water. When you are not dog walking and exploring, you can even relax and enjoy TV and WiFi.
Both lodges also share a gravelled courtyard garden which is surrounded by a fence. The courtyard is planted out with a range of pots, baskets and boxes and for many months of the year, it’s a riot of colour – a great place to sit out and chill.
Breakfast each morning will be brought out to your Lodge or you can enjoy some early morning weather and eat out on your patio. Local produce is used as much as possible, in addition to Organic and Fairtrade ingredients. For your other meals there are dog friendly pubs and cafes for lunch or dinner or you can make something in your Lodge which have fridges and micro-wave ovens.
If you need to have some dog free time, there are a couple of local dog walkers and sitters who the owners can put you in touch with. Do note that you cannot leave your dog in the Lodges on their own.
Explore the local area
Looking for a Hadrians Wall walking holiday? Look no further! Most of the Roman forts will allow you to bring your dog with you (on a lead) allowing you to explore the area together. Nearby Haltwhistle and Brampton also have pet shops and vets (as well as supermarkets, butchers etc) if you need to get any essentials.
Hadrians Holidays is surrounded by a grass and wooded area, ideal for a short “comfort” walk for your pet. The AD122 bus which runs a parallel route to Hadrian’s Wall will allow dogs on board.
