De Vere Wokefield Estate
De Vere Wokefield Estate is a dog friendly hotel in Berkshire located on the outskirts of Reading. The Estate comprises of the beautiful Grade II listed Mansion House, Wokefield Place, a contemporary building, and 250 acres of gorgeous countryside for you to explore with your four-legged friend (included within this is our championship 18-hole golf course). While stating at the De Vere Wokefield Estate take some time out for yourself and enjoy the indoor pool, sauna and gym as well as an outdoor gym. There are also tennis courts coming soon.
De Vere Wokefield Estate is home to a 6,996-yard, par 72 championship course designed to US PGA standards and is one of the leading golf clubs in Reading. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a first-time golfer, this thoughtfully designed, Reading golf course features elevated tees, streams, lakes and bunkers to test your skill. Make sure you make use of the practice facilities too including the putting green and the 15 bay fully-floodlit driving range. Subject to availability and prices apply.
When dogs stay, they are welcomed with their own bed, water bowl and treats in each guest room.
Wine & Dine
Benedict’s Bar in Wokefield Place is dog friendly, here you can enjoy drinks and food with your dog by your side. There is a range of drinks, snacks and light meals on the menu and a terrace for when the sun is shining.
In addition, there is also a choice of two restaurants onsite however these do not permit dogs. The View is located in Wokefield Place and offers a selection of home comforts all year round. 1560 is an a la carte restaurant and can be found in the Mansion House.
